I had the lens shipped to my sister's place in Melbourne and I picked it up earlier this year. She's coming over for Christmas so can bring it over if you decide to get one from the site. I'm thinking of getting another one as well.
In regards to EF and EF-S lenses.....
EF-S lenses only fit on cropped sensor bodies like 1000D, 1100D, 600D, 60D etc
EF lenses fit all camera bodies - cropped sensor (as above) and full frame bodies (5D Mark III, 6D). L (Pro) lenses fall in the EF category.

You can hire lenses from Wellington Photographic Supplies (WPS) so that is a good way to suss out the lens you want. The hire price vary depending on the value of the lens.
WPS are on Cambridge Tce end of Vivian St (opposite Nood).
